Pricing questions

Straight answers. No small print.

Do you take a percentage of what I pay or earn?

No. Olancers is an introduction service. Companies and freelancers agree terms and payment directly, and we never take commission.

How is "up to 99% less" worked out?

We compare our fees with typical published fees on major freelance marketplaces: a client fee of around 3% and a freelancer fee of around 10% per invoice. On a $20,000 project those come to about $2,600, against $12.98 on Olancers. Savings are smaller on smaller projects; use the calculator above.

When do freelancers pay?

Applying is free. Freelancers keep $30 credit in their wallet and $2.99 is taken only when a company contacts them. The only way a company can message an applicant is by inviting them to interview, so any contact counts as an interview. If nobody contacts them, they never pay.

What does a company pay?

$9.99 per job. The job is live for 30 days, and can be extended once, free, for another 30 days. Applications and interview invites are unlimited and free.

Can people share contact details or links?

Not in jobs, applications or public profiles. Once a company invites someone to interview, their full profiles and contact details open up to each other, and from then on it's between them.

How do companies and freelancers pay each other?

Directly, with no fee from us. We recommend Wise or PayPal.

Are there subscriptions?

No. There are no monthly or annual plans for anyone.
